He had a name, a few can say,
A welcome change, to this new day,
The years he knew, their light now fades,
The age he was, advanced in thoughts.
He lived life well, that was his bell,
He rang it loud, he was so proud,
The friends he knew, defend his cool,
He worked since teen, now rest he’s keen.
He knew love well, but not so swell,
He took no risk, his heart was bliss,
He had no son, this want he yearned,
But time now dawns, his youth now gone.
He built his throne, away from thorns,
The wealth of dreams, became his cream,
The fruits of joy, surrounds his ploy,
The scent of riches, rewards his wishes.
But now he sits, alone in heat,
The cold outside, he hurts inside,
Regrets in tears, he sleeps in fear,
His name will end, when he is gone.
