53. Time For Change.

I’ll find the time, to make things right. I’ll try my best, to help the rest. Won’t chase away, the ones that stayed. Just pray to be, the hope they see. The past was rough, our leader’s failed. We battled hard, to be the same. But time didn’t stop, or save the fools. Our norm undone, we searched for truth. Our wages low, with bills held high. We rationed food and did all we could. We cried at night, when all was dark. We can’t pretend, our government was bent. The stolen the blessings, that we should have. With lies unending, they tried to blind. Our protest begins, to end their greed. More people prepared to fight and free. Our nation unite, to kick them out. The violence ignites, the streets now burn. Their puppets defend, their armies unfold. True hell and death, they killed our youth. A nation of peace, now ravaged by war. Within itself because they felt, the leader now fed, ten thousand lay died.

31. Above Reason

There is a place, she calls her space. It’s in her mind, you will not find. It has no names and holds no fame. Not much can hide, here lies die. Here words fall down, time seems to frown. She sits and swings, without her wings. The cloudy skies, beyond her sight. I saw pain fall and hate can’t talk. She seems so free, between these trees. Released from fear, that’s buried in tears. All elements controlled, because she’s bold. I’ve seen happiness dance and love in trance. There is no season, within her reason. No hurt invited and stress can’t fight here. Her simply logic, prepare for magic. She can’t define, her ways are kind. Above this ground, there is no sound. Back and forth, she swings and fought. Every thought that pulls her down, she swings higher to drown. She states her case and rates her fate. There is much treason, within her reason.

27. My River

I see a river, each time I dream. The air feels warm, must be spring. The water’s fresh, clears my thoughts. I’m sitting so still, right on the bank. The gentle birds, fly high and wide. The moving trees, silent and free. No one around, seems like am bound. Watching this river flow, removes my low. Life feels lonely, slow as a pony. Chasing unhappiness, thinking we’re satisfied. Buying things, to feel the void. Playing games, to pause the pain. No time for talking, no fun in walking. Riding faster, going nowhere. The hurt is real, the mind can heal. The truth is bent, no cut in rent. Shattered dreams and burnout hope, holed hearts and stolen time. Memories fade and danger lasts. Wars abroad and death with taxes. Noisy surrounding, peace unraveling. Close my eyes, to silence the struggles. Louder the volume, to escape the hustle. Deeper breathes, in search of health. Drifting off, towards that river. A safer place for me to stay.

6. Time Killed Us.

We grew up together and fell in love, it was so fast, it should have last. From teens to mid-twenties, we shared it all, We loved so deep, it gave us sons. We grew our family and strengthen our home. Life ticked on by and time felt so right. Didn’t see the cracks, each day would bring. Deep in my heart, felt cold and lost. Couldn’t breathe with us, didn’t believe in us. Then at 50, you left me stranded. I’m not to blame, it brought us shame. Our kids all grown, this was your chance. You saw no use, to stay with me. Love all but gone, you took your stuff and left our home. It broke my world and ripped my heart. A life well lived, now stolen and gone. I caused the hurt, this sin I own. I gave my lust, to another at work. This broke our bond, trust ended it all. Alone inside, I cried all night. Time killed our all, this is my fault.

What Do They See?

time

They had a plan, these geniuses in kind,
Their brains of matter, a thing of beauty,
The studied all night, with formulas and stars,
In search of answers, to questions unasked.

They did not rest, just talked and stressed,
Their points expressed, their fears oppressed,
They fed the shark, the cat had some,
Upon this table, a life worth taking.

Surrounded by stars, we pondered their scares,
Afraid to ask, we listened with eyes,
Written in wood, we didn’t understood,
Burning the planets, we watched with questions.

With time and space, they ace the plan,
Aliens surround, witness delight,
Dinner at nine, visions or wonder,
Silence around, answers were found.

How We Met.

image

I think it’s time, we shared with you,
A tale of two, that lived as one,
Let’s set the scene, a tower within,
Around the fence, right up that hill.

Their home was built, with love not guilt,
The fields of green, their joy with spring,
They lived to please, the hearts unseen,
A lesson was taught, when happiness was caught.

The storms of marriage, they battled with courage,
No temper to greed, fate planting it’s seeds,
They cuddled in sight, we huddled to see,
Love glistening tonight, we listened with hearts.

A secret revealed, our minds withered away,
We gathered to see, their lives glowing and free,
The sea battered the shores, their home stood up and froze,
We met at the door, it was four on the dot.
