121. Tonight We Dine.

So here we are, alone at last,
The warm sea air, feels our mood,
The meal was exquisite, the wine full bodied,
My date delightful, her beauty unending.

We talked for hours, her life of flowers,
Adventures and trials, strength and resolve,
Laughter and flirting, touching and looking,
Into her eyes, my fears subsides.

She sense in me, my heart on sleeves,
No question too hard, just boldness to give,
My all to her, my thoughts inside,
I sense in her, a past betrayal.

She made mistakes, much like the norm,
She trusted too quick, men eager to please,
They broke her heart, now guarded she lived,
Not searching for love, just hoping to live.

I held her hands, not trying to hurt,
Offered support and encouraged her love,
She mustn’t give up, I summed up my thoughts,
She mustard a smile and held my hand tight.

The sunset was blissful, together we walked,
She rested her head, upon my shoulder,
Along the beach, our foot steps in sync,
I held her close, this sunset our own.

112. Into Me

There is a guy, inside my mind,
He’s cute and tall, so says my mum,
He wears his heart, for all to see,
He’s real and says, not much to me.

We work together, each day is different,
Our eyes have met, that moment was great,
He’s shy for sure, because he pretends,
To not take notice, each moment we share.

He has a name, I want to own,
He’s gentle and keeps, away from gossip,
I once got dared, to say hello,
His sweet response, shows me he cares.

I wished he’d ask, me out one day,
A meal or snack, to easy our curiosity,
No need for guards, around our hearts,
He’s worth the risk, am I insane?

He’s into me, I tell my mind,
I stay the course, within this space,
I’ll pray we talk, or share a case,
I stare at him, he smile at me.

111. Days Like This.

Days like this, make me smile,

Days like this, brings me bliss,

Days like tppphis, seems so short,

Days like this, fills my heart.

Days like this, won’t last long,

Days like this, change my mind,

Days like this, spring is kind,

Days like this, brings me life.

Days like this, heals my wounds,

Days like this, makes me write,

Days like this, wipes my tears,

Days like this, fear is gone.

Days like this, might return,

Days like this, youth seems done,

Days like this, grow we must,

Days like this, wish you well.

106. Made You.

What made you stop?

What made you drop?

Who told the world, you gave too much?

Can’t stop the tears, won’t halt the fears,

Just seems to run, without much care,

Between the cries, the long surprise,

Who stole your kiss?

Who holds your bliss?

Just you and me, still here till three,

If kings could press, our heads would stress,

We turn around, in search of sound.

83. Grace Came.

She is the face, that lifts my heart,
She brings the light, that last all night,
Her touch can sail, away my fears,
She hold my life, within her hands.

Tonight a party, unlike the norm,
Faceless around, all masks are worn,
I arrive with haste, prepared to mix,
The room is full, all joyful and bloom.

I asked around in search of her,
My heart pounding, so loud and proud,
The sparkling lights, brings bliss and life,
The flowing drinks, much laughter and toasts.

It’s been awhile, since I arrived,
Then a tap, upon my back,
I know this scent, that lifts my nose,
I turn to see, her facing me.

She’s cross and holds, my hands in hers,
I did explain, I searched for her,
She smiles and teases the mask I wear,
Her eyes so green, my love complete.

78. At The Bar

I had a chance, to change her mood,
It wasn’t fair, that I should choose,
She’s way to cute, to bend the rules,
I’m lost inside, her eyes so clear.

We’re at a bar, my mood is smooth,
I’ve got no game, she’s way too cool,
I stand and stare, afraid to move,
She caught me stare, I dipped in fear.

Turned around and start to chat,
Friends confused, I laughed out loud,
Then the tap, behind my back,
Swung quick, to meet her gaze.

She’s standing here, inside my space,
She said “hello,” I must be lost,
I spoke in riddles, my mind is puzzled,
I’m way to deep, can’t seem to fit.

73. The Artist’s Kindness.

I found a space, to beat the race. An empty room, without much sound. It’s painted black, no notes or sacks. It draws a crowd, all keen to dive. Into my mind, to see what’s there. Above their heads, I cut a hole. Filled it up, with two lightbulbs. Dimmed the light to hide their face. They walked about, in search of why. What’s inside, this artist now? Their minds will search and wonder what. This room they stand and up they looked, without a thought or clue to what. The few looked happy, the silent seems deafening. No notes to guide them, just shoes to sound out. Don’t fear the dark out, some light still shines out. This stage is art, before they find out. Each observer looks puzzled, each face seems dazzled. Beneath the hole, they stopped to stare. Empty faces blinded, two lights to remind them. Shining through the darkness, bringing forth my kindness.

70. Rushed

Rushed to think, rushed to link. Rushing around, trying to write. Finally the encourage, eating my porridge. Burst my tongue, scuffing it down. Forcing my brain, pressured to dream. Angrily insane, looking for veins. Words deny me, eyes inside me. Empty and blank, this paper so bright. Channeled my talent, silence the balance. Visions unsettled, hold on sweet petal. Sounding all mad, “help me,” I’m sad. Trying to find, words upside down. Panic becomes me, winter surrounds me. Seeing am lonely, hoping to go slowly. Seeking one word, to litter this page. Nothing delivered, dinner with liver. Tuna and garlic, watching Ana Sally. Raining with glim, suddenly am thin. Speeding with time, feeling so flush. Trying to rush, seeking no crush.

66. The You, You Know.

Take you time, don’t deny. You the self, you long to be. See the stars, up above. Shining bright, yet far and wide. Touch the flowers, dressed divine. Scents so lovely, tears drop sweetly. Be the joy, bold and old. Fearless like time, cold as snow. Meet love sooner, hold and let go. Feel the freedom, life your kingdom. Do not chase, what won’t bring. Calm and positivity, turn from negativity. Hear the heart, in your body. See the happiness of your spirit, be still and listen, your soul enlightened. Just be you, you that cares. Take that leap, for you will keep.

59. Spreading Love

Love you hair, love to stare. Love the way, we talk of love. Love to feel, love to see. Love around the world and me. Love is safe, love can’t fake. Love brings joy, love is hope. Love sings sweetly, love heals gently. Love can swim, love holds on. Love brings strength and love don’t hurt. Keep love running, love don’t sleep. Love speaks truth, only love bears fruit. Love my soul, be that bold. Love is young, and love is old. Love the case, love can mold. Love can shape, love is peace. Take away, love will stay.
